New food trends are changing the recipes of food and beverages. Even trusted, well-established products are frequently being reformulated, where necessary. The current trend is for example the reduction of sugar, fat and salt or the observing of certain food habits such as vegan and vegetarian. Reformulations offer the opportunity to launch new products and reach new target groups. The “Ingredients reformulation of sweets and snacks” special event at this year’s ProSweets Cologne conveys an overview of the possibilities, but also the prerequisites for promising reformulation. It is enhanced by daily tours under the professional direction of the DLG. The tours also lead to exhibition stands where interesting insights into the theme are conveyed.

The meeting and starting point of the tours is the stand of the DLG (B 08).
